This chapter will help you to debug non-running daemons. A fully configured x2go Terminalserver will come up with the following ports:

nmap localhost

At the very end you see 3306 and 5432, the portnumer for mysql and postgresql. If you portscan the x2go Terminalserver from the outside to the IP address you will not see all daemons, because some of them are bound to localhost only for security reasons!

If you administrate on the command line you will notice that you have to type in the password twice each time you run su.
