All kile templates are saved under /usr/share/apps/kile/templates/ default.

Texlive brings in addition some more templates. To find them just type:

locate /usr/share/doc*example*/*tex | more

or

locate /usr/share/doc*example*/*tex.gz | more

You are free to try and adapt this examples for your own purposes. Before doing this you should save them to other location. If you find that this template could be good for several occasions just  save the adapted example as a template. In Kile this is very easy. Just go to File->Create template from Document and proceed.
