In all probability, linux4afrika will be at LinuxTag 2007 in Berlin
(30 May – 02 June 2007)
The German ubuntu-community invited us to showcase our linux4afrika-project together with the ubuntu people at their booth. We’re very happy about that because it’s a good chance to get through a big public. At this time we’re preparing the first container with computer equipment. Status quo is that the transportation costs are unsaved and of course further on we’re looking for computer equipment donations. LinuxTag provides an opportunity to collect donations.
The first container will be send to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Our partner there, Mr. Paul Koyi, CEO of Agumba Computers Ltd. who is a member of FreiOSS will receive the computers in Tanzania and he will take care about the delivery of the shipment and the installation of the computers. We’re very happy to have Paul as a committed and reliable partner in Tanzania who is always willing to support us in any case. Paul plans to come to LinuxTag to support our linux4afrika-project there. Paul, you are very welcome!!!
